How can I order my plaque?

Step 1  Send your graphic via email

Step 2  Once decided upon color(s) click the “buy now” under the appropriate product.

             Please back-up with a private email including any necessary details/information!

Step 3  Confirmation

Step 4  The Creation Process begins with the Artwork

Step 5  If requested, a template for approval will be sent

Step 6  Once finished, the product(s) are shipped out!

What methods can I use to pay? 

You can use a credit card or paypal through our site. 

How long before I receive my plaque?

As early as 2 weeks, however, depending upon work load and the difficulty of artwork it could be a 4-6 week turnaround time considering the plaques are 100% hand-crafted   individually by Stephen F. Karas.

What type of graphic should be sent?

The quality of the image on your plaque depends upon the image’s quality that has been sent by you.  A great test is to print your own image onto a standard sheet of paper.  The size of the image must fit proportionally on 8.5 x 11” standard sheet of paper.

What size is the Crosses of Courage plaque?

Approximately 8.5 x 11”

Can you work on my artwork and let me see what it will look like?

Our policy continues to be that once your plaque(s) are purchased we can begin to work on the creation process.  You can request a proof of the artwork after the product has been ordered for you to approve/disapprove and/or make changes.

Can you make me a different shaped steel plaque?

We can create a custom plaque(s) for an additional fee but must be in a group size order.

Can a different patch shape fit onto the maltese cross plaque shape?

It must fit into our template.  Please consult gallery for examples.

Will the colors of my patch match exactly the artwork placed on the plaque?

Not necessarily because of differences in computer screen resolutions and printing inks but we can closely match in most cases.

What type of preferred image should be sent?

Any image can be sent and we can determine if it is a good quality image.  If it is not acceptable we would then request an image of better quality or recommend a better type of image through an email.   The following types of images are acceptable such as, jpg, bitmap, psd….etc….but not limited to…     

Can I get a discount?

Shipping is automatically discounted on multiple plaque orders. 

Is picking-up an order an option?

Yes, arrangements can be made for a local pick-up in Baltimore.
